Elliot Gluskin - Partner

 

Elliot Gluskin is completing his 22nd year in the research industry. He started in the research field learning tabulation, coding, and questionnaire design for a Manhattan, NY-based research company. Gluskin then spent eleven years working in the research departments of major publishing companies including the McCall's Publishing Company, Playboy Enterprises, and the Meredith Corporation. In the early 1990's, Gluskin joined Rodale Inc. as Research Manager for Bicycling Magazine. In 1999, Gluskin was promoted to Research Director of the Rodale Cycling Group encompassing Bicycling and Mountain Bike magazines as well as the affiliated web sites. Gluskin is best known as the project manager of the only two major market studies on the U.S. cycling market - the "Cycling Consumer of the '90s" study conducted in 1991 and the "Cycling Consumer of the New Millennium" study conducted in 2001.

Related activities include being a Past President of the Media Research Directors Association, being a frequent speaker at industry trade shows and strategic planning meetings, and being a quoted source on the cycling consumer in major newspapers and magazines.

Currently, Gluskin acts as a private consultant for a number of companies in the bicycling industry.
